Screenwriter Helen Bratt is an award-winning writer for motion picture, television and magazine. She is currently a field editor for Birds & Blooms, a national magazine with a circulation of over two million readers. For three years Helen was a weekly columnist for a local newspaper, writing NatureWalk^(tm), articles dedicated to nature and the environment, bird watching and endangered species as well as regional, national and international environmental issues. Her writing has also appeared in numerous publications.

Helen Bratt developed the story and put to screenplay Forty Horse Cave. In 1996, one of her acclaimed screenplays was optioned and sold within weeks of final draft completion. Helen is the writer to the successful television series, The Nature Scout Adventures, which was a well received program for children airing on public television for three seasons. In 1997, this program was awarded for outstanding children’s television programming at The Best of the Northwest Film Festival. In 2000, Helen was the recipient of two Family Favorite Film “Togetherness Awards” for ‘Best Screenplay’, and ‘Best Children’s Educational Television Series’ – Nature Scout Adventures.  In 2002, she won Best Family Screenplay at the Yellowstone Film Festival. She was also the writer for the highly acclaimed television news program Nature News which aired nationally.

Helen continues to develop and write new stories and screenplays.  She is the writer of under-production films Escape, Reality, Shambala and Mountain High.
